WhatsTheNextChord is provided to help you write your own music. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it automatically at scale, or misrepresent its output as anything other than suggestions.
No warranty of musical correctness
Suggestions and explanations are generated by rules and are offered as ideas. They may be wrong, unusual or simply not to your taste. Your ears decide.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, text, chord data and software belong to the operator. Chord progressions themselves are common musical building blocks; anything you write with this tool is yours.
Exported and shared content
You are responsible for anything you copy out of the app and share elsewhere.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from its use, including loss of saved progressions when browser data is cleared.
